Bug/Issue Xbox One Version - Game Crash?

Greetings,

I have a saved character on stardew valley but I cannot access it. The game loads properly, going through the startup showing the Chucklefish logo. I am also able to click on the Concerned Ape logo to produce the "whomp" sound. However, when I attempt to load my character, it goes to the loading screen that shows the xbox one controller and then immediately goes back to the Chucklefish logo. It seems to be some sort of loop I guess. In terms of specifics my character had just gotten married to Leah in the spring and it was on the 28th of that same spring on my second year that the game will not load. I'm 43 hours in so I hope that this can be resolved with my data intact. I hope this input helps.

Have the same problem. I am in the third year on the fourth day of spring. Have already over 70 hours. Would be glad if it can be fixed

 

I'm thinking that they're working on an update now. That last update fixed a lot of the crashing.

 

Yea they have been working on it for more than a month with no update on a timeline I'm a little shocked it's still on the marketplace with it being unplayable for a majority of the players

 

Yea I would like to see more frequent updates on their progress. Might ease some of the sour taste people have experienced.

 

Juat happened to me as well. 22nd of Spring, year 4...115 hours in.

I read a post about emailing them your gamertag to allow access to files, but now can't seem to find it...didn't apply to me at the time, now I'm screwed haha.

 

Same issue. My game was working properly this morning, and now I can't get any of my save files to load. When I click on the load screen, the game makes a buzzing noise and crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, but nothing works. I can start a new file, but once I quit playing and go to the load screen it crashes every time. I have 2 files with over 70 hours each invested. Not too pleased.

 

I'm having the same issue, since yesterday. Tried deleting and downloading to no avail. Keeps crashing at the load screen. Total bummer.

 

Same problem. Does anyone know when the next update will be released? I think they rushed the console release which is why there is so many bugs. I really don't want to lose my 90+ hour file

 

I have Xbox one, was on season 3 spring, and have about 90 hours logged and played last night and now it won't load today. Goes to the start up screen. I'm so mad!!!

Xbox one, 23rd of summer year 2, 48hours into game. Before bug, in game I used select and went through menu to log out to front screen. My character was currently within pierre's and I mistakenly sold the corn I had just purchased. When I attempted to reload the game it would go to load screen, but after instead of going to game it would go to game startup sequence. General 037 is gamer tag.
