Bug/Issue [Xbox] Map issue, unable to access Hidden Forest

My saved game has a glitch at the entrance to the Hidden Forest (see image). Instead of having a log, I have two plates of food and a piece of newspaper. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to clear these items. They have been there since I started the game but I did not realize that they were a glitch until checking some items out on the Wiki.

Is there any way to resolve this issue, or will I have to give up on this save and start over? I am on year 2, so I would prefer to recover if possible, but as it stands, I can't complete the community center without the fish in the hidden forest.
