And Arretez is a furry mayhap. I still don't know. I consider myself to be animalistic in nature, especially since I purr when I'm happy, but I've never really identified myself as a furry.

im still having problems with lag in my game although with the most recent update it seems to be somewhat less so... *cries* i want to multiplayer SOOOOOO bad

 

Bah. I knew I shouldn't have played last night. There's going to be another character wipe with the next patch. Obviously, what with weapon damage being so wonky.

As far as the balance update goes, I kinda hate it right now. There's not yet any identifiers for the easy/med/hard on planets or enemies. My home planet would absolutely destroy me at night time, though a nearby arid world was comparatively harmless. There was no distinction between them. They were all 'Level 1' worlds. Additionally, shields have become entirely useless / have not been restructured, so there was a bit of time where I was simply getting smashed trying to make sure of that, haha.

The ore rebalancing is, as stated, a little too generous. After finding a stretch of sand and gravel underground, I ended up with way too much silver and gold, though almost no iron. It was really enjoyable knocking down the sand piles and picking up 50+ pieces of ore, though. Despite my initial reaction to sand/gravel as "AHHHH WTF IS THIS, OMG SO ANNOYING HATE IT HATE IT!", I have taken a strong liking to it for its efficiency.

I must say, though. I really miss my dash tech. I was so used to using that to avoid fall damage with my first character. I hope someone can find some world coordinates for a replacement rather quickly. Maybe I'll have to learn how to use rope now. o.o

 

I like the changes so far, not sure if there is any difference from the planets of the same level.
The mobs still die in one hit if you have a decent weapon, but you can withstand some punishment if you have a good armor of your level.

Hmmm... all the massive balance changes for some reason remind me of Starcraft 2 beta, hehehe. Marauder Marine OP, nerf now! OMG Sentry tier 1.5, nerf now! Omg wtf hellion speed op! and etc.

 

I want to withhold judgement on the balance aspects of the game right now because that's going to be one of the things that gets changed lots for sure.

 

Steel bow does 11k damage and flying enemies are OP! Also, I believe being a furry just means you like anthro animals, doesn't mean you have to have an anthro fursona
