Just so you guys know, the Korean Characters on the title image of Dust actually means Dust.

You should note that the clothing and the buildings bear a strong resemblance to Korean architecture/clothing. This makes some characters look pretty hilarious.

If only. I have a 20 panel comic to do and two reports to write. :p
I don't know if I can pull it off.

You can. I have faith in you. :)
I've had the same kinda thing happen. While school was in. In the end, I finished a research paper that I still am immensely proud of, a speech that got a decent grade and an essay written entirely in Spanish that I was amazed got an A.
    1. Get some good music. (May I recommend some Xmillsa, Divinium or Tut Tut Child? Perhaps some AdrianVonZiegler for more chill music.)
    2. structure your stuff. No, really. dedicate tasks to accomplish that are bite-sized. My mom likes to make lists
    3. Get Linux, I recommend Ubuntu. On this partition, swear off games and if possible, even internet. This is the OS that you use to WORK. Since some of your stuff will end up on your fun partition, I used a flash drive to store my stuff.
    4. Find your panic button, it should be big and red, take a deep breath, and gently press it. Realize that you have to do this. come to terms with the fact that if you don't do these tasks, very, very bad things will happen. Also understand that it will eventually be over. No more shitting around. Turn on your music, lock your door, and get to work.
    5. That structure you've made, the plan for how you're going to do this stuff, it's important, will give you a sense that you're going in the right direction, make sure that you know what you're supposed to be accomplishing, and let you accomplish it.
    6. Just start. I rewrote my outline from scratch on my research paper when I realized that it was awful. But by then my momentum had built up, and now I could actually start in earnest because I realized that this whole thing wasn't as hard as it seemed.
    7. For reports, make an outline so good that to "write" your draft just take your various bullet points and add periods and conjunctions. For me, this meant that my outline was about twice as long as my actual paper (due to whitespace) For research papers, if you can't do this, something's wrong and your work will probably have problems with being way too short, feel padded and flimsy and get a poor grade.
    8. Have a goal, accomplish that goal, and once you have finished that goal, give yourself a break. However, do NOT make this goal have anything to do with time. Make it focused on accomplishing something like making an outline of paragraphs X, Y and Z. Something where wasting time won't help you accomplish your goal.
Yes, you'll probably feel like shit while doing this, at first it'll feel like someone's ripping your fingernails. The panic button is supposed to give you the initial energy to start writing. Once you get into things, it'll feel a lot less awful. And, yes, this does get much easier once you've tried it a couple times.
This worked for me, and perhaps only for me, but it worked amazingly well.
Locking yourself in a room, installing a new operating system, and pressing your panic button might seem like overkill, but it's really, really not. I was amazed at how quickly I churned out my papers. It was amazingly helpful and now I only wish I had discovered that I could do this earlier. Even on medium projects this trick helped me a ton, just forcing myself to do it. Eventually the measures will be less extreme, but for now, there is no such thing as overkill.

My laptop can't run Ubuntu because of the way it boots up. :megusta:
And I can do it. I'll just insert a lot of subtle innuendos in my comic.

Let me know if you need someone to read over your comic. I don't mind a good webcomic.

if it's a new computer, Starbound will work, unless there are weird compatibility issues.... then it will probably work eventually when those issues are worked out by devs :catface2:
