Gotta love TB x Jesse Cox Shenanigans. I hope their characters don't get wiped too soon, because doing a tutorial over and over again can get tedious very quickly.

 

The tutorial is completing several tasks that you'd have to do without tutorial anyways, and in pretty much same order, plus you're not restricted to doing anything else on the planet during tutorial. So no problem here!

Now, seriously, em... let me think... I heard it's like a Shank that doesn't try to prevent you from scoring up with epic combos... I also witness it to have absolutely all characters as anthropomorphic animals, with exception of guess stars such as Super Meat Boy or Spelunky Spelunker. Yeah, they have 'em, and you have to liberate 'em. May ruin the immersion but. heck, many indies get guest stars like that. Also, landscapes are goooorgeous. And you have an annoying nimbat companion that's like a little annoying little sister, except you can't kill her to suck out superpower giving juices from her!

 

It is a metroidvanian brawler/platformer with gorgeous animations. Even though enemy types assets ARE reused frequently, you will be too busy hacking and slashing and marveling at how beautifully it is executed to care. The Entire Game other than the music was created by ONE person by the name of Dean Dodrill. All the Art, Animations, Programming were done by him. teh voicework was mainly done by people from newgrounds and other voice acting groups online and the music was done by a group called hyperduck or something along those lines. I beat the game to near 100 percent completion... I got too strong to get the 1000 hit combo anywhere in the game.

The story is OK, voice work is OK, art is AWESOME, gameplay is DEEPLY SATISFYING. Music? EPIC. I think my favorite track comes from the level called Archer's Pass

What i'm getting is yes, it's worth $4, but don't get your hopes too high.
