I've had this idea since yesterday...
What do you guys think of a book with Death as a narrator, and one of the plot points is them figuring out whether to take the main character up to the book's equivalent of heaven or drag them down to hell for what they've done/are doing?

 

The Novel, The Book Thief, does something similar, but less from a first person perspective and more from a... Spectator-ship?

Hard to say exactly. I only read it once and it's been a while.

 

Yeah, that's where I got the idea.
Loved that book.
And yeah, I'm aiming for Death narrating in a similar fashion to the Death in The Book Thief, but just a little less detached from the story.

There's so many I like aaaaaaa
Well for starters
ALL the boss music. Especially Deep Sea Bass, Konga Conga Kappa, For Whom the Knell Tolls, and Last Dance.
All the Fire/Ice music is awesome, too. The coolest thing about them is that in the game, the third floor is cut in half (half fire with fire enemies, half ice with ice enemies) and the music swaps depending on what side you're on.
