Should I feel bad that I'm the seemingly only person ever to have never finished HL2 r HL1?

 

I never beaten HL1, I was near the end of it when for some reason the save got lost, I was next to the final level.
So i just looked up the ending instead of running through all that shit again... @_@

 

Not necessarily, unless you are fond of PC-centric fps in general, then, well, then you should give HL2 a try!

You didn't miss that much if you didn't finish Xen levels. It's not as fun as stuff you experience on Black Mesa

 

I played HL1 until I got to zen. Then I was like, "NOPE" and stopped.
I played HL2 until the second humV section. Then I was like, "This is more tech demo than FPS" and stopped.
God I hate those vehicle physics

 

I don't think the second vehicle section is nearly as long as the first. There's quite a few good levels after that bit too.

Strictly speaking, I've never finished HL1 - I got up to the nihilanth fight but never bothered to beat it. I've finished every other HL game though except the PS2 exclusive co-op thing (opposing force, blue shitt, HL2, episode 1 + 2 and lost coast).

I watched the livestream, it has 70-fucking-thousand health on deathwish (for reference skulldozers are 10k)

They seemed to suggest that it might be possible to hack or take control of it though.

 

ECMs from what I seen really f*ck with it, disabling it, maybe turning it against the cops I dunno about that though.
Though when I first saw the thing, I ran for the hills, that little crap still shot me from the van.
