Been playing the game for quite a few hours already and loving every moment of it. However, I have come up with some ideas that I think could improve several aspects and maybe add new cool stuff to the game. Sorry if any of these have been mentioned before. In no particular order... 1. Double click mining. My finger is getting tired of clicking and holding for hours on end while exploring caves. Imagine being able to double click to start mining without the need to keep pressing the button. Double click again to stop mining. Easy. 2. Bookmarking planets. I can imagine that after months of play and hundreds of planets explored it will be easy to forget where is what. it would be cool if we had a way to bookmark the planets we have visited and maybe add a small description for even more detail. E.G. "Big moon base next to ape dungeon" 3. Saving exactly where you left. I'd like to be able to save in the middle of a cave/dungeon exploration and carry on exactly where I left. 4. Change the default to small block instead of large. I have the feeling (definitely in my case) that people tend to use small blocks (shift + click) instead of the larger default size to build things. I think it would make more sense to switch it around so that normal clicking places a single block. 5. Item description appears too fast. Maybe its just me but I find it slightly annoying that the item description dialog appears the same instant I hover my mouse over something in my inventory. It distracts me and stops me from visually browsing my inventory since it covers up so much space. Maybe a slight delay before it appears would help or even better, have it appear on the right side of the inventory window instead of next to the mouse pointer. 6. Monsters in a planet should follow a similar aesthetic and be consistent. This could be a bug but it seems that every time I load a new session the monsters in my planet change around and are not the same any more. It would be nice if the monsters would be consistent and share a similar aesthetic within each other. For example having white and blue coloured monsters for snowy biomes. I find it odd to see a bright pink alien on a snowy planet. 7. Land creatures should drown. Self explanatory. 8. Power ups should last longer. They are waaay too short. Seriously, it seems they last for like 1 minute. Not more. 9. PAUSE BUTTON Why not?? I think it's essential. 10. Bind zoom to + and - keys. Would be cool if I could change the zoom level on the go. 11. Please do not add banking system for pixels. This will just break the game. We need a penalty for being reckless and dying too often. I love how it works now. The thrill of dodging death at the last second with a pocket full of pixels... Hope to see some of these ideas being considered. Thanks for the hard work. A.
I like the Mining idea. Also I agree with the banking bit, however, the current rate is way too steep.
