Would you want the Apex removed?

"Purifying" is a sinonimous of "genocide", from the standpoint of objectivity there is no point in assaulting or humiliating anyone who doesn't threaten you, so in the end, no matter how you call it, it is still evil.
Oh and to be honest, I myself gonna be evil in that way, towards Hylotl.

 

Nah its not evil, from what we can tell the Apex have a very oppressive society, as such it can be expected that the Apex are probably a threat to human existence.

So purifying them is A-O-kay.

Yeah, remove the flea-bags, and the avians.
Replace with Cat people and the bird people from windwaker.

 

"Potential threat" is not an excuse. You could at least say you're doing evil things for the sake of some greater good. Like I do. "Fish is evil and must be erradicated! I know some of you here like sushi, but we can always synthesize the flavour! Anyone who still has objections please step into the suicide booth!".

Think OP was really concerned about all the hate of Apex and misinterpretated it as people not wanting to see the race ingame at all.

 

I don't understand why everyone doesn't hate on the avians.

Is it evil to kill thousands of mosquitoes because they could potentially give people malaria?
Is it evil to cull wildlife because it could potentially kill people?

No, neither of these are evil. The Apex are not human, they aren't "us". They are an alien race, one that oppresses its own citizens, if its willing to treat its own like that, whos to say it wouldn't try the same with humans? No, it isn't evil, its necessary.

 

Because, you know, many find them cute. Cuteness counters stupidity, just like badassery counters common sence!

I see it's pointless to argue with you. Still, justifying destruction is jerk business.

 

Look at the greatest individuals of your inferior race: Mr. T, Robert Redford, Chuck Norris, that Youtube homeless guy that can sing "Creep" like a God... What do all those individuals have in common? A majestic facial hair (that obviously doesn't even compare to the weakest individuals of the great Apex race).

None of those people are examples of the height of human intellect. So this just says to me that all Apex are superficial idiots. xD

The main theme with most of the races is that the player is against the evil intentions of the rest of the race.

 

They should be made extinct... because... you know...

 

I probably won't play as them, but there is so much gear in the game because of them. The game needs them and I don't see the point of taking the content out of the game.
