Would you want the Apex removed?

I dislike the apex, but I don't really see the point in wanting to remove them. Then again, if they do get removed for some reason, I couldn't care less.

 

The very notion that some people would even LIKE to have a race removed for such petty reasons cheeses my fondue something fierce.

Not really. Though if we must, then I'll hate the sheer ridiculousness of the 'I dislike the Apex and think they should be removed' or 'I don't like them, so I'll commit mass racial segregation' wagons

 

I wouldn't like to play as one, but I sure as hell don't want them removed.

that would be stupid thing to do, first of all they are already implemented , if some1 doesnt like them no1 forces them to play as one, and im sure there are lots of ppl that rly want to play them , so removing them would be pointless

Don't be silly... Monkeys is a human thing = 3=... you know... with the rockets... and the kerbal space program... i mean Naza. o 3o. While the Apex are just apex... They cool.... We cool. Our monkeys that test our rockets are cool.

 

The Apex feel... A bit like a wasted opportunity wise to me. I actually find myself liking the idea behind them, and their aesthetic in items and clothes and armor so far. But making them into ape people feels backwards.

If it had been up to me I'd of gone for more bestial rather than ape like. Like with wild hair and more rough features and larger overall bodies than the ape way, which just seems to me as a lazy way of showing degenerative physical development.

I wouldn't want them removed though. Even if culture wise they seem like a critique of a way human society can go if unchecked (Like we're heading right now to be perfectly honest) rather than their own unique thing. At the very least Ill like their clothes.

In short, my opinion = like the idea but not the execution.

 

Why waste time and effort removing a race that already has tons of content designed for them?
The Apex were among the first races announced.

 

In before behavior analysts do a story on Starbound studying racism in video games based on the few people who decide to keep NPCs segregated.

I actually want the Apex to stay, because their unique culture is hate to love, love to hate, which is kinda unique among the other races IMO.

I don't really like the Apex, but I wouldn't remove them from the game because that would remove the option for other people.

 

Reminds me too more of Planet of the Apes, but voted no, because other people like them.
