Would you build your own vehicles?

maybe the vehicle creation could be like in war zone 2100, you select categories, and you select things like, guns, mobility,body, and some are not compatible with others, (like the huge body is int compatible with the fighter wings) i thing there would only be three major categories if it were like that.

 

So, what if you just used blocks to build something on a special platform, then add parts that you craft onto the blocks to make it fly/drive, and depending on how many blocks and or what type of block would determine the weight and drag of the vehicle as well as the bounding box for collisions. perhaps you could even have blocks fall off if you hit something and stuff.

I personally would like to have vehicles that dig and mine THOSE would be awesome. It'd be like lego rock raiders all over again

 

i'd make my ship have a razoe sharp front, so I can fly THRU my foe's ships.

I like that idea, but I really wouldn't like to see an flying submarine with wheels and a drill. So I think that in ZTS's idea the upper
stripe-shaped button should be the category of vehicle, so there cars won't have drills, and helicopters couldn't dive.

P.S. Mechs would be an exception, because why not underwater mining machine with wheels and a JETPACK?

 

I'd love to have a large part pallet to explore, mix and match, and wire it all together. Kind of like Garry's Mod. But I'm not gonna get my hopes up just yet, maybe someday I'll build my own nuclear equipped walking death mobile. Just not this time around.

What about the ability to edit a generated vehicle? Like " oh snap this big turtle needs lasers!"

 

I would like the idea that ZTS chose with just pick a part and whatnot and maybe add like custom paint jobs that can be uploaded and shared by other people on the website and whatnot.

 

Would be excellent to be in the game!

 

I suggest that land vehicles have many different wheels/tire that behaves differently
Example; a 'tank track' can drive on almost every blocks but has a slow speed
And a tire has a fast speed but can't drive on sand and mud (or maybe has very slow speed when drive on block like mud and sand)

 

One of my favorite past-times in Kingdom Hearts was creating new and interesting Gummy Ships. It became almost more fun than the real game itself.

A gummy ship / Lego-esque vehicle builder would be amazing.

 

Don't know if somebody mentioned this yet....but something like the vehicle crafting in 'Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts' would be cool.
