worse than a bug- i can't play the game!

So whenever i play starbound the launching and all is fine, but when i select my character there is a 50% 50% chance that

it will either load me normally to my ship

i will get a black screen and the game automaticly turns off without any warning or error message?

If i load in correctly everything is fine- if I try to teleport to my world then this happens:

the screen starts flickering from normal game to black screen until it yet again turns off without warning.

so i can only really try another world? so i did i flew to another world, now when i try to teleport to this one, same thing happens.



can i please get any help ? this game is real cool- but not being able to even play when you own it isn't .
