World wipe?

My multiplayer world just got wiped, anyone else?

 

Do you mean just now? There was a wipe with the last update. If it happened more recently than that it was probably a bug. Was it someone else's server? If so they may have wiped it. If not it was probably just some random bug that is to be expected in an early release game.

 

Happened to me just now, was my server. prolly a bug, lost my mansion though, didn't have time to take pics cause it wasn't finished.

 

Did you crash? It's possible it just didn't save or the save was interrupted.

 

Sorry, we love you pal. Good luck rebuilding also make sure youre not on a different home planet, for some reason my buddy set a home planet and shortly after it refreshed to an earlier home planet he saved.

 

I was flashed back to my ship for some reason and couldn't beam back down, so me and my friend reloged and turns out everything got wiped lol

 

Sounds like the planet file got messed up somehow, and couldn't be read so the game re-generated the world from scratch.

Probably some kind of broken save or something.

Did you get any error messages or anything like that in the server window? Might be helpful to the devs to post them in the bugs forum, if you did.

 

No, no errors, just all of sudden changed screens to my ship and tried to beam down but couldn't, reloged and everything was resetted. Oh well.
