I would think high pressure water cannons would be saaweeeeeeet!

Damaging or not. I think it would be fun. Pushing enemies around with water, because we can. lol.

I imagine it working like F.L.U.D.D in Super Mario Sunshine. Water reservoir on the characters back, with a high pressure hose, with a cannon or nozzle attached to the end.

*FWOOOSH* bye bye ugly monster, down the drain with you :)

Mother of god. That's amazing. Super-duper water physics!

I know, it is amazing isn't it? The water physics in this game sound like they are going to be a blast to play with. So I can't wait to see the kind of stuff we can do with water, and other fluids :)

Yeah, I think he said something about there being more than just water and lava, like oil and stuff like that.

I wonder if the water will be pressurized in all opening or if it will be like real life water and change pressures as the water empties out. For example when you poke three holes in a jug of water the top one loses pressure since there is less water. I can't see pressurized water having any effect past the coolness of having pressurized water, I can't see any "water cannons" having any real effect, but I'd like to be proven wrong. On a side note, I'd like to see the player dripping with water when he/she gets out of water!

Well I am not going to confirm or deny anything because I do not have that kind of information to prove that it is valid... BUT! Tiy did say something along the lines of this: that when he was playing around with it, he could make a small box, click the inside and then spam his admin command, /water. Which would fill it with water repeatedly, causing pressurization. Well then he could break a block on the top, and BAM! fountain. :p

Pretty much how he explained it.

hehe I hope that was an intended pun..
I am for the idea of a water cannon!

Oh my! That was not an intended pun, but I see it now. And that was hilarious! lol.

So did he compress water by adding more than the box could contain or did he pressurize it by constantly adding more? Pretty zany either way.
Also, water fountains. We're gonna need a way to create pump systems, and water fountains should be at the top of the priority list.

Water fountains are cool but I'd want to take a step up..something never before seen..I'm talking plasma fountains!

that would be awesome, and it will go better if the amunition are presurized containers that you can refill whit any liquids you want ...
o im out of ammo.. mmm that acid lake over there will do the trick

He added pressure by putting more water in the container than it could hold. The same way pressurization works. Fitting a large amount of something, in a small volume of space.
I agree, Deathend. It would be cool to be able to use multiple types of liquid. Perhaps modifications could be made to the water cannon to allow it to use acid instead. :)

I wonder if the same mechanic would work with mobs...if so I'll bombard my enemies with a POPTOP CANNON! :)

o.o I think it would probably obliterate the mob in the process of pressurizing them in a small container. Soo you could shoot... Idk poptop goo? lol

It would be cool if planets had natural geysers that came up from aquifers and such :)

If a poptop can survive being flushed down a toilet, a little(lot) water pressure shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Geysers on planets would be cool. Water, and lava geysers :p

I didnt know they could be flushed down a toilet!
