Hey Investigators, Today I worked on something different: charmed dialogue. The plan is for certain NPCs to be wooed over through magic, dialogue choices, or a skill test (most commonly via the charm skill). I've been creating a range of alt-dialogue, which triggers in this event. These range from a subtle shift in dialogue tone, to barely-disguised admiration. The difference will depend largely on the NPC's personality and background, and it's all hand-crafted; with nothing handled by computer generation/templates. If I have time before release, I'll do the same for intimidation. Today's Progress: - 2 NPCs given new 'charmed' dialogue. - 1 cutscene polished and expanded with branching dialogue. - 1 new cutscene converted to an in-game .js file. - 1 new branching dialogue tree, also. - 16 new NPC exchanges converted to .js files.
