RELEASED WIP: The Viera of Ivalice 0.3.2

Nanzie's store is crafted at the Viera woodworking table and is a place able shop.

 

Hm, I seem to have encountered an unusual hiccup...Whenever I go into the Iron Anvil menu, I can't seem to make Fran's Armor; instead, it's the "Perfectly Generic Item." This along with the Character Menu mod are the only mods I have, so I'm not sure if this is an issue with the Glad Giraffe update, or if something went wrong when I downloaded/installed it...

 

It's the glad giraffe update. They changed a few things in the armor files. I'll try to finish a glad giraffe fix for yall today. I'm almost finished checking and updating my files for it. Sorry about that >_<

 

Oh it WAS the update! Okay, I feel better now! And take your time with it, there's no rush. Quality over quantity! Loving it still!

 

Probably a bit of an odd thing to comment, but was randomly starting a Viera after I tracked down the race that was causing some issues with quests and so on. (Luckily, Viera isn't the issue \o/) Issue is, however the flashlight quest at the start- the Crystal Lantern no longer counts as a quest complete for a Viera character. Just letting ya know!

 

This issue's already known. In fact, you can get a Flashlight and Cool Jacket from the Viera Wig Shop to help with the quests. For now, this is the best fix available for the race.

Try checking on the Viera Crafting Table. It's a placeable, but still functions like a normal shop.

I have a problem. I can't make the Fran set at the Iron Anvil, all I see is perfectly generic item where the Fran set should be.

 

I brought this up earlier. This was apparently a change in the Glad Giraffe update. The author is still working on it, it seems.

Sorry I couldn't respond sooner! Yes, the recent update for the game made a change to how the armor files are setup. I'm sorry I haven't uploaded a fix yet, guys. I've fixed everything but the guard NPC spawners and guard tenants. I ran into a wall with the Viera while trying to fix them and got hung up. I really had hoped to fix them completely before I update, but I may update regardless at least for a better experience with the current main game build.

 

That would be great! Thank you! From now on, I'll try to wait for proper updates. I just really like Final Fantasy XII. It was the first game I ever completed.

I checked the link, and it still works to download, so I'm not sure why you're not able to download it.

 

Well Your external link does go to the proper page but every time You click Download it simply refreshes the page.

Edit: I've tried again and the same thing happens no matter how many times I click download, do you have to sign up just to use Mediafire now?......

 

I was also able to download the Viera without any problems just now. Maybe it's something of your comp that's not allowing you to download?

 

So, uh... I tried this out. It was working fantastic. Then I died, the game crashed and now every time I try to log back in as that character I just get my ship with nothing in it, and the game crashes again after a minute.

As soon as you see your character, quickly use something that can heal you on your hotbar. If you don't have something that can do that on your hotbar, use starcheat to recover your health.
