wing suits.

I think it would be cool to have a rocket/wing suit. it would be artificial wings with rocket assistance to keep it going/maybe a boost.
so please post comments on what you think.

 

i think it would a cool feature if you can fly around in a big o wing suit. Like+

it would fly kinda like a bird/plane cos the system for wings in terraria was weird with the guy going up a few blocks when you press space.

we know Avian generals have wing packs in-game so maybe if you choose to be an avian you could have access to something like it.

Ok this is a bad example, but I meant that Avians will be probably so common that you would get wings very easily, if that could happen.

Well, the Avians don't have any wings. But on some of the pictures they have artifical wings but I don't know if they can use them to fly. Anyways THUMBS UP FOR THE IDEA!

another good idea would be lower tier glide packs without a booster that rely on wind or just gliding power.

This game is spacey so i'm guessing there will be some kind of jet pack.

 

I love this idea! I think that jetpacks are too vertically-inclined while these could be less efficient at climbing straight up but could allow you to travel quite fast horizontally. I think it should handle like those gliding flash games, and cost battery power to boost.
But I have a question. How do you land without fall damage gibbing you?

 

Well you have to apply a small amount of boost at the end, or have an item like in Terraria, I can't put my finger on the name right now :/
