Hello all! I have a question regarding win conditions. I already know that I can have the victory come only if you use your commander to defeat the other players/AI commander etc etc. The question is, How do I portray that to the player that they will see it and understand to avoid frustration. I feel that it is a little easy to overlook the overview screen and map description. I know you can do this in a cutscene, but not everyone that plays your maps is going to care about the cutscene and could simply just skip that information. Maybe I'm feeling like this needs to be too much in the face of the players but I could see this ending in many downvoted maps that are actually quite good and the player didn't look close enough.
