Will you still play terraria when Starbound comes?

I will continue playing terraria, at least till starbound comes out. Then i'll play them both. AT THE SAME TIME. *explodes*

 

I haven't really played terraria in months Not since the christmas update.

 

I don't see why I would stop. There different games and I think I can fit both in my life. So short answer: No.

 

Probably not. After I finish the textuerpack i'm working on, i'll probably move over here completely. Also will be busy playing cube world too, when that comes out.

 

As a Terraria server admin/hoster, It would be wrong to simply dump the server and leave the non-migrants in the dust. So I'll certainly be bouncing back and forth.

 

I haven't played Terraria for a while now, so probably not.

 

Why would we stop playing terraria? they are both different games - almost everyone is like "Terraria wont have further updates -no fun- ill play starbound because its like the new, improved, terraria" Terraria is still here... we can still play it >.>

 

I probably won't stop playing. There's still a lot I'd like to do, plus all of the mods available...
The time I spend playing it'll go down, though. I have too many games that I've been ignoring ;3;

 

same will happen to me, i can't run many games due to my old pc, however, i'll start playing badass games when i get my new pc -not to mention i should have gotten my pc since christmas *cough* forgetful mom *cough*- Portal, Skyrim, and League of Legends are my first targets

 

Of course I, and hopefully H[R]G, will. Probably some PvP and whatever cool mods come out. But if we do a LP of Starbound; well, Terraria will take a backseat

I've done what I could in Terraria. It was a great game, but all good things must come to an end.

 

Only time will really tell, of course, but I think Terraria will be one of those games that are fun to play again every couple of years.
I got it in August 2011 (I think) and played it for a month or so, getting endgame stuff, then started playing again when 1.1 came out.
Now I've got endgame 1.1 gear, and while it's still fun to play occasionally, there isn't really much new to do, so I probably won't be playing it as much, except when playing with others.

Some games are just replayable enough that it will always be fun to play them again after a while - games like Super Metroid, Civilization II, RollerCoaster Tycoon, the Baldur's Gate series, Minecraft and Terraria. (and no doubt many others I couldn't think of right at the moment)

 

i still need to make a epic base not gonna let 1 month of gathering supplies go to waste. so i probably will play terraria .

 

Terraria is a great game. Me and my friends will play terraria even after this arrives. However, this game has lasers. And looks really really awesome to play, especially with others.

 

Absolutely I'll still play Terraria, AND Minecraft. I don't stop loving a great game just because there's ANOTHER great game.

Yes I will. There's still a lot to do even without new updates coming out. Adding a few personal rules to spice up the game makes it like a whole new experience.

 

Um... Terraria has lasers too.
But yeah, this looks like it's gonna be totally amazing if they actually manage to implement all the stuff they've mentioned so far.

 

That's a tough question to answer... Lately, when I play with my friends, we end up doing nothing, everyone already at full hallowed so... yeah... and when we try to start a new game, it takes at max, 20 minutes to everything turn into chaos. And it's been awhile since I last played Terraria by myself. Not sure if I'll play that much later, but i'll probably wait for the mods to start appearing.
