I'll see if there is a good roleplay community with some serious roleplay.

Somehow I doubt that, but I have my hopes.

I plan to hop on a vespa, find people and pull giant robots out of their heads while spouting nonsense and hitting things with guitars and looking GLORIOUS!~

Seriously? I think everything has been thought of... I guess I'll just torture my friends with constant in-game music and rambling then.

Lol havn't done it in years, but yeah why not? Maybe I may find a RP server in the forums with people I like.
Also I like to think up back stories for my character. (Farathil-the Floran)
The main one I like is a traveling Mercenary/Hunter recluse, that tends to spend more time with other races than his own. Mostly Avian and Hyotl due to their similar ways of life.

 

I'm sure I will at least sometimes.

 

-> Traditionally, I've not role-played much outside of D&D and Pathfinder and the like, though I've been getting into it in WoW, so I do believe I may very well roleplay while playing, at least on my first and main character, who I plan on being a female Hylotl Space-Pirate named Maladea because I'm not creative.

 

I plan on RPing with my cousin, because she detests spoilers and doesn't want to feel like she's competing with me in the game. Since my character wouldn't actually have any meta-knowledge of the game's workings, I could simply RP as the character. It would also prevent me from automatically using the most effective and efficient strategies for progressing in the game, which are things she likes to discover for herself.

I'd love to RP on public servers intended for RP as well, and I'd have at least a dozen different characters ready and waiting. I'm also looking forward to having Director Mode and creating campaigns for other players to RP in while I pull the strings, because I've always loved D&D and I'm often the DM because nobody else wants to do it.

 

The adventures of Moko K. Galactic assassin and general hot mess, chaotic neutral. Loves pineapple juice, hates blood, owns no less than five spacecats. I think the answer is clear.

Edit: And this is only one idea I have in mind.

 

I fully expect I'll RP if the online environment seems right. As to solo, it'll be off and on.

 

In Oblivion, I was basically a mass murderer who wanted to see how high his bounty could go - Was pretty entertaining being chased by.. well, everyone. Constantly. Then chasing them as they fled. I don't RP seriously, but having a general idea for how your character will act and giving them certain limitations, like melee-weapons only, can definitely make the game more entertaining. It helps lengthen single-player experiences as well. Being chased by guards across Oblivion added some challenge, so I think I'll have a character in Starbound who leaves a path of destruction in his wake.

But I won't RP in multi-player, unless I'm really just screwing around - like naming my character Michael Bay and throwing explosives at everyone.

 

Maybe? I prefer to keep my role-playing in D&D/Pathfinder and Forum RPs personally.

The mountain is just too chaotic for me. I wanna be able to befriend people, but keep them on their toes.

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure yet, I suppose it will depend if there is a community/server for that. But I'll have to see what happens first.

I am personally gonna throw a Chrono Series twist into my roleplaying experience... Perfect opportunity... especially since Earth is destroyed by creature living inside of it, while everyone is fleeing the planet at start of game.. *hint *hint...
