    Back when I started playing my first MMO back in 2007, I rolled a hunter as my main. Since then, I've been a ranged kinda guy until I started playing Terraria whee I switched to melee. I guess I'll need to wait and see how the combat mechanics work before I decide.

    I've always been a swords kinda guy, but when given these kind of options. I'll probably use swords mainly and switch out to range if kiting is necessary.

    Melee in the beginning when it's simple things to fight, range for the most part in the later parts of the game, when it's a game-over if you touch something that moves.
