will you be a hunter or a farmer?

how will you act in game? will you hunt the big boar for dinner, or laboriously work in the factory and produce some awesome tech?

 

All of the above not an option? Bad form, sir, bad form!

But really, I like doing pretty much all of it. Spending the time to hunt and scavenge for materials and tech, but just as much building up a base of operations, with all the various construction options available, though soon as I'm done with that, go hunt some more!

 

I think I'll spend the majority of my time building a giant HQ on my home world and farming on another. That way I'll be self-sufficient.

Hunting, lots and lots of hunting! I'm gonna have the largest journal in the universe!

 

Both. But mainly hunting. Kind of gives it that Monster Hunter feel. Hunting down a large creature, carving/looting its dead body and then returning home to create armour, weapons and other useful shenanigans.

 

I'd imagine myself doing both.

 

I'd be the engineer-type guy who builds impossibly oversized robots and have them hunt things for me!

i would enjoy to hunt here and there to gather supplies but farming is something i can see myself doing when the time calls for it~

 

I tend to over-farm, even when I have plenty of resources available.
In Minecraft, even when equipped with full Diamond everything, I had a stack and a half of diamonds because I would mine it for hours.

So I will more than likely spend more time farming/mining.

 

hunter because farming feels BORRRRRRRRRING

 

Farming because you don't need to do much. Leave your farm, go mining, come back and there's a field of whatever to make into something niiiice.

 

If Starbound has a good farming system, I'll be doing both.

 

How about having slaves?

Id love to create some nice things in the lab, as well as build alot, but the occasional combat is always fun

 

Me, I'll be making myself a few labs.
A green house, DNA lab, trap testing ground, zoo, large living quarters, latrine and some other cool stuff I've yet to think off.

I mean .... how ells am I going to get my sharks with freaking lazors on their heads?

 

I'll work laboriously in the lab and factory so that I have the best weapons and equipment for hunting the bigger big boar.

 

Majority hunting because I love reaping the spoils of battle
