Will we be able to name our ships?

I was just pondering this, will it just be "the ship" or can we name it?

Now obviously we can name it even if there isn't an option, but I would like to officially call my hylotolololtyl ship Gamera (cause its a flying turtle)

Also, what will you call yours?

Sure! You can name anything! You can even name that rock

just be sure to tell everyone you named that rock, and it will become so

 

i hope we can name them. my Hylotl ship will be named Blue Shell after the ones from mario kart

 

That makes me wonder what I'd name it....

Would be interesting to be able to name our ships as well.

 

If we can name our Planet, the ship may be likely, and then there is in the Ship layout itself Written "Baconizatior of Love" or any other thing people want.
That may come with another level of customization, can change the layout of our ship, from a set of predefined ones that is likely after launch!

OT: Simple idea, but I like it. Maybe a name plate or a bit of spray paint on your hull?

 

I am going to name my ship: "Planet"
Or: "Not a Ship"

 

If we can name our ships, I'll never be able to come up with a half-decent name. I hope it's optional! Hahahaha!

 

well also think of it this way

you can put blocks and crap anywhere you want on the ship, even sliiiightly outside of it. I'm sure you could just write out what you want to call it on the outside

 

Or just paint a name on the background walls with the paint tool.

 

Wouldn't Blocks Out Side Of It Fall Off During Space Travel, Raining Hell On The Closest Planet?
