Will there be Owls

Penguins are already long confirmed and that tentacle kitty thing was confirmed not long ago, but what I want to be findable somewhere are owls.
I just want one staying at my ship/station flying around and just being cute and cheering up the place 0v0
I bugged Tiy a few times over twitter and occasionally threw it in somewhere where I thought it could fit but no confirmation ever, so I guess I could as well make a thread about owls.

So, would you like a such a feathery small companion for your ship/station/travels too?
Or would you just be mean and use them for target practice or horrible splicing experiments? (I might have some splicing plans too myself though ._.'')

 

Idt you have the type of owls we have in NA but in Greece we have Owls that come into public places and non-stop hoot. Their hoots are as loud as dog barks.

So yea I wouldnt mind having some owls in game.

in one of the older streams that Tiy did, I saw random gen monsters that had owl like faces. That's the best I can do. I hope you like hideous owl monstrosities that want to rip your flesh apart

With random monster generation, I'd bet you'll see an owl-like creature at some point. Owlbears, anyone?

I will tame an owl and name it Pull. Once it's trained to come when hearing it's name I will store it's DNA in my cloning program. I will yell "Pull!", it will fly, I will shoot it, and then I will clone and repeat. Who needs plates?

True, they can be somewhat unnerving at times. However, they can also be quite adorable, if one were to disregard their sharp talons...



...Anyway, I vote yes for the little balls of feathers and wisdom.

 

It would be nice if there are Owls, among the many bird species that will exist. I suspect we have not seen birds featured much yet because of the status they have listed on the Roadmap:
