Will the game ever look like...?

...THIS? I don't know, I just REALLY love this picture here and I would be heath broken if the game didn't look like this in the end. I mean, just this 1 picture gives the me so many ideas for activities that I could do inside the game. Please?

PS : Am I the only one who loves the background here? It seems like it would be dynamically put together by the game, which is great. I also hope that in the end there will be different backgrounds put together by more assets than just different types of trees. It would also be great if it could dynamically switch backgrounds depending on the current region your in. (Land between a desert and a lush forest would have a background where there are only fewer trees, more sand, until it has completely turned into a desert background. That would be so cool!)

I'm only asking because the pics I post here are all on Imgur and sometimes the regular link gives me the broken icon and only a c/p of one of the other links will work . I think I'm missing something (<wouldn't be the first time).

Sorry about all that. Yes, I agree. I hope the game looks like that pic, too. Or even like that one crazily overdone pic of an urban setting I've seen around (Little help there, also?).

To answer that question you asked: Maybe in some time. Where time is not defined yet. I am serious with that, I might find an equation based on recent happenings giving you a rough estimate at some point. But yeah give it some time, eventually it might look like that.

I'm very curious about this because of this forum's inadequacies when it comes to avatar changing and want to maybe rule out that aspect.

 

It's not this forum's 'inadequacies', it's Xenforo's (the site hosting this and Terraria's forums) issues. And inadequacies =/= bugs, what this forum is experiencing is bugs which they are trying to get worked out. In any case, I have no idea why the link isn't working, but Rainbow Dash's picture is working and the OP's picture shows up when you quote it.
