SRSLY?? star bound didn't come outt his summer that's horrible but it didn't come out on FALL ALSO?

Don't worry,I'm sure that after the end of the world if you ask politely either God or Satan will let you play it on their gaming platform.Whit the difference that God will have a quantum computer and Satan an 8 bit console.

ONTOPIC: I'm thinking a mid Jan. release is possible. If you've watched any of the videos the game seems pretty complete to me.

The game's going to be okay I suppose. Although I'm just beside myself in waiting for the next wallpaper release.

All that is happening is that the several of Earth's cycles end on this one date in 2012. We are just shifting into a new phase of life, that's all.
The Earth is not going to implode on itself, we are just continuing history.

Besides, the devs are pouring all their blood, sweat, and tears (maybe even literally) into this game, so give them some breathing room.

 

These people do realize that making a game isn't an overnight process, right?
Don't forget the devs are human beings, too (Well, okay, maybe not all of them), but they run low on patience just like us, they get impatient and upset with the lack of progress just like we do.
They want this game just like us, but the thing is, THEY are the ones responsible for making this game, and impatience is a lot harder on them than us because THEY are doing the work.

I'm pretty sure this is what the devs think about on a daily basis, too.
(The ice cream and pony part. the NOW NOW NOW part is a little milder.)

 

Of course not, the forum is just a community of people who give ideas to the "developers" when they actually do feel like making the game (because they didn't release 4 videos already).

 

There's nothing wrong with 8-bit consoles. I for one would be fine with Starbound for the NES (can someone make this happen?).
