Closed Will Starbound be optimized for my horrible laptop?

My laptop is far from good. My Starbound game lags when loading up and when I am playing. My current specs are:

-Intel HD graphics 3000 2.40GHz
-4GB of Ram
-3854 MB of physical memory
-i5 Processor

Surprisingly, I can run Skyrim with no lag on low settings, but I can't ger 10 or 15 FPS in Starbound. Thats fully to blame on my laptop but I hope it will be optimized.

Edit: Any tips on making the game run smoother based on my current specs?

 

you have decent processor and average amount of ram , but the intel graphics not sure you will encounter quite a bit of lag , im running a GT320 all tho it runs smooth all the time thats only when the planet is fully loaded in , and when running the planet to try load everything it drops around 12 frames but still playable

in this case this will be more worse for you thatn it was for me , maybe a constant 20-30FPS and when loading chunks maybe 11FPS

honestly i dunno the game is not really GPU intensive infact my GC is not even running 60% while playing the game so hopefully you should have a decent playing time , some dips in FPS etc but hopefully generally smooth

 

It seems to be working good? Maybe it is just the game that is unoptimized still.

Also I dont think you need to make three threads one after another, just saying.

 

the game is currently in CBT on earlie access on steam so it wont be the best optimized game there is , but thats for future

 

Maybe, but with my experience in CBT games, after the updates and release, the game become way more laggy than before, so im not sure, in fact, i played the game yesterday using a cracked version, the game was perfect, no lag at all, now today i bought the game, and after the update, im really laggy, is unplayable right now, im about to re-download the cracked version so i can at least play with my character until they fix this, and i hope they fix this cause i love the game and i dont want to ask for one refound...
