Will Starbound be only available on PC?

he never siad it's using iOS though.

Let's just say that. I'm limited to only a few sections and FAQ is not one of them.
Even though I did right now.

 

If I recall correctly, OmnipotentEntity uses Linux most of the time. It would surprise me if he hadn't tested it.

It would be a great, great disappointment if Starbound wasn't released for Linux. Personally, I'd rather wait a few years until the advent of Steam for Linux brings about the Linux gaming revolution, than pay for a game that doesn't run natively on my OS.

 

Most probably on pc first, and then maybe go to consoles and IOS and android, a bit like minecraft did

 

Okay, clearing up and locking time:

Windows (including Windows 8) - confirmed (Tiy and bartwe use Windows)
Mac - confirmed (kyrenn uses OSX)
Linux - confirmed (Omni uses Linux)
OUYA - Chucklefish won one and the last thing we heard about it was that they were "going to see how the controls port over to OUYA" (or something of the like)

Other platforms are unconfirmed/haven't been discussed.

It's hard to code a game on a platform without testing it.
