Will Starbound be coming to Xbox and Playstation or not?

Hey I'm a big gamer i play xbox and computer and other devices i was just wondering if it be coming to consoles or not?

Well if it did like terraria and minecraft went to consoles I am sure if the amount of copies sold for pc goes well they will aim for xbox, playstation, and maybe even mobile if they do as well as the other games

Both Terraria & Minecraft feel weird on mobile/consoles for me.
I hope Starbound stays PC exclusive.

 

It may feel weird to you but others enjoy it. So I don't see that as a reason not to port it over. Especially with the current gen consoles running on PC architecture so it would literally just be making controller support and that's about it.

Oh and just for the record I wouldn't get it on console I love PC gaming for these types of games.

Why would you want it on consoles when PC's can do everything the console can, but better.

 

Even if it did, it will be years before there's even a hint of it.

 

I mean I agree with you Smoke Diablo 3 in my opinion is better on xbox since I have not really played on my pc bc it is not that great for playing those high quality games but, I get what everyone is saying about it going to playstation and xbox things like that.

Assuming your( I don't mean you in particular) PC has better specs than today's consoles. When a majority of people play games on PC that have integrated graphics cards.
Even so that isn't really an issue here.

 

I think that if they decide to move to another platform we will loose updates and content, they will have to focus on consoles porting. Bye bye dear game, welcome money cow ! Think of minecraft ! That´s what happened !

Not really as console of today use PC architecture so there wouldn't be much difference in the code.

 

Regardless if it does get a port or not, it will have whiplash either way. Someone is always going to complain about something, its just human nature to want more.
