WHY WONT THIS JANITOR CHICK STOP FOLLOWING ME

i dunno why but ever since i hired this floran chick (she was my first crew member) every second im on my ship she is always following me like literally walking on top of me and its impossible to do any work, so is there a way i can send her to my farms or a planet or something cause its not like janitors are useful for anything anyways

 

That is likely not the issue here. I have the same thing. My 1st recruited crew member randomly follows me around the ship every now and then, and won't stop. She's not in my active crew, she won't beam down with me, she just stalks me on the ship. Incredibly annoying.

Still, clicking on her twice, to make her follow and unfollow, usually at least stops her... till she gets at it again sometime later.

 

Take the hint.

Bathe, regularly.

 

She has a crush on you. It happened in my ship too.

It's probably just a coincidence, but in my case it stopped when I allowed her to sit in the bridge. They seem to love it:

 

Yeah my female human character had a female Hylotl literally fall in love with her. Had the little hearts AND winked alot.

 

Read the crew statuses, had a guy "Wants to know what your face feels like"
and another character, "Has impure thoughts" (I think the wording is slightly different but message is still the same ).

As annoying as it is, I oddly find it hilarious when NPCS just arbitrarly decide to follow me.

A floran girl with a green/greyish ponytail tends to follow me almost every time at the outpost.

 

Part of the problem with anyone trying to follow me on my ship is that horizontal doors are opened with sensor from below, but with a button from above. Thus whoever follows me up, has huge problems getting back down, and just walks left and right indefinitely, until I relieve their suffering by pressing a button.

 

I have a Floran girl in my ship, and she's got a crush on my Hylotl ronin. She had the little heart, she winks a lot and she salutes me too !
In my RP, they are together as a couple.
