Why we need new game footage!

Hi all!
I found out about starbound long ago, didn't think it was interesting but for some reason stumbled upon it again a week or so ago. Then pre-order happened. Cynical as I am I started asking myself how the game was going too look and what was in it, I wanted as much info as I could possibly get my hands on. This led me to discovering a few of Tiy's old livestreams someone uploaded to youtube. I found them interesting, but the graphics seemed horrible, now, don't get me wrong here, I think the game looks amazing based on the screenshots, but when the livestream was of such poor qualit I started to wonder if they weren't pre-renderd. Then I looked at the one minute clip tiy made (kyurens cakeday or something) and realised that it most probably was a coding issue with the video, and pre-ordered anyway.

What I'm trying to get to here is that the lack of footage (and here I don't count heavily edited videos like the building one) represents the game in a bad way sciense what you find if you are looking for gameplay are the old streams. This is why we need a ten or (hopefully) more minutes long video. (Dat english -.-") So that people who are looking for gameplay will not find these old streams and think, huh, this game looks relly bad because bladihblah...

That felt like a ramble, anyway, I hope you understand my point here, or at least the point I'm tryin to get across.

Also it's just the poop screen recorder that makes some videos look bad. There's nothing 'heavily edited' about the building demo.

 

Nuh, should have written visibly, ah well. What I mean is that it consists of several small pieces with visible cuts in between.

 

Because we need a trailer that shows off the gameplay and badassness that is starboard.

so we can show it off and spread it around to our friends and their friends, so that more copies can be sold!!

Better quality and actual gameplay(-ish, since it's admin mode). Note that these are older, so lots of progress has been made since then.

 

Yeah, realized that, but it's not much better quality, it's still blurry and such.
