Why the hell haters "hate"

dude not 2 be mean but starbound aint a sequil to terraria red said he will be making a terraria sequil and starbound isnt it
also the 2 game lore dont fit in any way shape or form

 

It's funny, because I didn't see very many people who said Minecraft was a rip-off.

As more things are created, there's inevitably going to be less originality. Terraria and Starbound both have basic ideas that are very similar to that of other games (as well as each other), but then they also use a mixture of smaller ideas to give the game a kind of originality.

People who judge too quickly will only pay attention to what about it is similar to other games, and other people who are too lazy to look into the details and then base their opinions off others are a part of the

 

I agree with you, just take call of duty (all who hate this, whatever, its just a little example) Since call of duty remade "first person shooters" many companies wanted to make it in their on style, same goes with starbound, it is similar to minecraft and terraria to some degree, but the fact remains that it is a completely different game, like relating milk chocolate with dark chocolate, they are both chocolate, but different kinds and therefore have different pros and cons
