Why Starbound is a ripoff of Terraria.

Both just so happen to NOT have a mariachi feature.... I mean what games nowadays don't? Terraria was revolutionary in this.... BLATANT COPYING.

 

With all the arguments I have seen so far on could theoretically say Starbound is a Half Life ripoff as well....

 

Only Tiy, who was the artist for Terraria and is the lead designer for Starbound. The rest of the team is different.

 

But, we're all Tiy, right?

 

So...this thread isn't funny anymore.

 

All games are rip-offs of one another. It's a conspiracy, guis. All game owners were born from the same family and genetically altered to look different. Then they were all given different identities. All of them made separate gaming companies, the employees being friends of said family members. Then they published games.

It's all a grand scheme to let everyone in the family and their friends make money without any single person having more power. Then the family will arm themselves with their wealth and lay waste to the world in the name of Satan! MWUHAHAHAAHAAA! ALL HAIL SATAN! ALL HAIL SATAN! BOW DOWN TO SATAN! MWUHAHAHAHA!

Starbond is NOT a rip-off of Terraria. Look at Tiy for example. Worked on both games. He is the owner of the company that is making Starbound and he was an artist in Terraria so everyone who says its a rip-off... shut up.

Starbound is such a rip-off, both Terraria and Starbound used a programming language to create them, this is unbelievable!
