Nah, can't be.....I'm pretty sure that thing the slightly wrong shade of gold or something.....as the developers work tirelessly to ensure all complaints are addressed the universe is hard at work creating better complainers....it takes some serious skill to come up with petty stuff to complain about when the real reasons are quickly dissapearing from under your feet.....I mean, what's a poor complainer supposed to do? They have aloot of egyptian (triangle, not steps) pyramids in their decorations and their ship design is also clearly a egyptian pyramid (not Aztec/mayan pyramids, they dont look the same as egyptian pyramids).

So they have some inspiration from egypt. (not to mention that the whole race screams "stargate jaffa/goa'uld" that were all about ancient egypt).
