Why is Solus Katana so OP?

    I have that weird rainbow sword thing dx and my solus katana is more powerful.
    Like jeez, you could get that before I went to the extreme level planets.
    I grinded Asra Nox for the sword, finally got it, and it is now my new favorite sword, I keep my asuterabo or whatever sword in a chest just in case.

    I think that the stats change with the protection you're wearing. If you have tier 6 armor while fighting, you'll get the best stats on the sword, but that's just something I read on the forums and can not guarantee.

    it is, because this wepaons have no fixed stat (well they do have but it does not stay fixed) and instead increase with your armor (because your armor does in % increase your damage)

    Yeah because I have tier 6 armor.

    The Solus Katana is arguably better than the Violium (IMPERVIUM!!!!!) Broadsword.

    Why?

    Instead of some flimsy spinny slash thing (which is still hella sweet,) you get to have danmaku (lit. 'curtain fire', often translated to 'barrage').

    Do I need any better explanation than this?
