Why is my fps sooo low?? it wasn't like that when i first bought the game...

    my fps is seriously like 3, and I can't seem to figure out why. I'm not completely inept on computers either... no pro either tho.

    What are your specs, and is your FPS lower on your ship than on planets?

    Also try updating your graphics drivers.

    I have weird lag issues too, it wasn't there when I first got the game and seems to only be from the latest update. I don't know, its hard to play like how it is now as compared to how it was.

    Keep in mind, the game is in Beta, so lots of textures, mechanics, coding is subject to change and can change how the game runs visually, eventually in Phase 3 (Where they make the game run better) there will be huge improvements to fps.

    FPS; you say? Is that a new XBox One game?

    All Jokes aside.
    We have to investigate this.

    It's probably just something they added that is glitching out; Resulting in some PCs not being able to handle the stress.

    Well, first of all you can always clean your PC from files and programs you don't need. Clean your PC from dust could also help.
    Be sure that ALL your drivers are up to date. Maybe you should re-install or repair your game. If none of that helps well...it might be that
    the newest version of Starbound don't work well with your PC.
    EDIT: Just tested my game a little and i have no FPS problems what so ever.
