Why i love the Apex

I feel like the Apex are currently the best at producing mad scientists.

If I need an evil laboratory, I'll probably be using Apex stuff.

The Apex strike me as likely to be mentally unstable, as compared to other races. Growing up as an apex means, explicitly, that you grew up in a place where paranoia and self-suppression are encouraged, and your natural neurology has been tampered with in at least one way. Just strikes me that such a world would produce ace crackjobs that are fun to observe or play as.

 

I was worried when I read the thread name. Thought the OP would go on about how he loves hairy females. Anyhow, Apex. Yep. I don't know what advantage their armor would have. Hyotl obviously go underwater, Avian obviously fly. Apex I don't know. Maybe climbing capabilities?

 

Freud would wonder if your mother was an Apex... whom you adore sexually... Mmm yes... Is this true? Did you project your sexual feelings in the title you read?

I think Apex make good psychologists. Their armor ability should be mind reading.

I actually only know a handful of furries that choose a primeape as their persona. Some seem to view them as too close to humans. XP

Buut, back on topic! I, for one, willingly accept and welcome our Apex overlords, as it means a higher output of more banana-based products: Banana bread, banana splits, banana cream pies, those hard-to-find banana flavored tootsie pops, banana laffy-taffy, cake-with-banana-pudding-and-slices-in-the-middle, banana bandages, and of course the most important of all, banana phones.

 

Oh man could you remove any references to my thread please. Making this thread has only served to bring more traffic to mine and its starting to get a little irritating having people essentially flame and insult me because I don't like their fictional game species as much as they do. It was fun at first but it gets old eventually.

 

realisticly, if you didnt want that you probably shouldnt have started your topic in the first place. i doubt this one would have materialized at all if yours hadnt.

 

To be fair, I made that thread over a month ago and it had since died. Which was good because it died just before I got over the discussion. But thats fine, I'll go ask a mod to lock it for me.

 

Truth be told, I was never a fan of the Apex to begin with. Over-time though, through the nurturing of fellow Apex enthusiast, I have grown more fondly of the Apex and their lore. As a fellow human, I will gladly defend my Apex brethren in the heat of battle. When all hell breaks loose, I reckon the humans and the Apex will band together against the Hylotl, Avian, Florans, and Glitch.

 

I find them interesting. Like all the other races, well except florans they are thieves.

Fair enough, it is done, is there a way to change the title to 'Apex Appreciation thread' it would make the link to your thread non existent, also insulting someone who doesn't like the same thing as you is just stupid I don't dislike you for hating on a fictional species

 

Kinda neutral on apex as a whole. The one thing I do like tho, is the fact they are a nice blatant scifi hallmark. That fits in great with the game.
Pitty Fox will allow a dozen awful Aliens games to be made but would never let any of its scifi trademarks cameo. Fortunately you can't really copyright talking apes.
