Why doesn't this house count as a house?

Why doesn't this house I built not count as a house? Madness!!

PS. I'm too lazy to actually screenshot my PC, I'm doing this on my Android.

 

Because the room is incomplete. Its walls, floor, and ceiling have to be made of blocks, not platforms. Replace the platforums on top with more girder blocks and it should be perfectly valid.

Also, replace the empty "window" on the right with either glass or more girders.

 

It needs an enclosed roof. Even though you have a platform up there, it doesn't count as full enclosure. Cool build though.
