Bug/Issue Why can't I map middle mouse button?

Middle mouse button does exactly the same thing as "E" (interact) so that's a waste of a button on my mouse I can't use for something else. Ridiculous. There must be way to remap it?

And while on the subject is there a way to change mouse wheel scroll so scrolling up goes right along the hotbar and scrolling down goes left? I can't get my head around it this way for some reason - doesn't seem right.

 

Would like to see us be allowed to map this. For me specifically, I would un-map. Middle-mouse is my Push-to-Talk in Discord. Now when I talk while playing Starbound, I jump out of my Mech or Hovercraft..thing.

Not sure why this is hard-coded. Almost every game I play will let you map everything.
