Some that have replied are console owners, just not the next generation owners... Myself I don't plan on getting the next generation, due to the price, anytime soon. That and their game libraries are not enough for me to get excited to get one or the others.

I am at the moment more onto the xbox than playstation, although each has their own advantages and disadvantages. I am in no way completely a computer player. I am I guess both console/pc player. Some things I enjoy on console more than pc despite modability. Minecraft is something I do like.... So is Terraria, even though I own for the pc each. At least on console most games I don't have to be connected to play them. Well at least for the 360 that I have at this time.

So hearing it coming to playstation 4 is enticing, but not enough, as it is too early for myself to tell. After all the game isn't even complete yet. Anyway it is good that in the future it is spreading out, that is all I can say....

To be fair most people are here for the PC version. Threads on the PSN forums are a much better area for feedback on this on this subject at the moment, people are excited.

I have a PS4 and a good PC, but my reason for not getting the console version of Starbound is purely because I own the game already.
Never really played in to the whole platform wars thing. I play games, not platforms. Too many great games out there to limit myself.

I never got the platform holy wars myself, each has it's merits and issues. I do like that supposedly there are not supposed to be any items to make you feel you are not getting everything if you don't buy both versions. I do think i recall the idea of the PS4 release mentioned here being met with a big MEH while the same on PSN exploded.

I'm going to wait for the full game on PC. I like the modding capability and there's no real reason for me to pick up a PS4 (unless say MM is watching this place and an LBP3 comes out...). Still with that I like that it's going to consoles so that many more people can play the game too!

Well, Sony just cut off support for Most of the PS3 online which renders Multiplyer games unplayable and cripples other games like GT5 (which I have purchased a racing wheel and racing seat for). So I shan't be getting anything from Sony again. Xbox is just as bad, so I am back with the PC full time. The next gen consoles aren't really next gen, they are 2006 gen. The software-hardware relation is NOT anywhere close to how the pre release demos say it should be. A good example is watch_dogs.
