Who's gonna use mods?

Im planning to create a lot of them
Will probably make tutorials too! But its up to the modding language, hoping its C#...

 

Really the only mods I tend to use are either texture packs, or mods that add more diversity to the already randomly generated items, or typically new content that is reasonably in sync with the game.

 

I heard that scripting is done in Lua.

 

Fine by me , i've done loads of things on gmod

 

I might try my hand at modding if I can find a good Lua tutorial and if what I want can even be done with it. Otherwise I will need to find someone more advanced than me with an interest in my mod concept.

 

im not planing to have mods on my game for a while (mainly the fact that im going to be on a mutiplayer server and that will get messy ) but i usually just enjoy core game play

 

I'm bound to find some mods I like. I'll probably try and make some simple items myself.
Likely I'll need to mod in meatplanet.

Likely there won't be any real mods for a while.

When I do run mods, they're usually tweaks to fix/remove stuff I don't care about. The TC's usually come much later.

 

Hmm... I might find some unofficial patches after the devs have stopped updating as much after a year of release.
I also might find a mod that lets you sprite your own character. If that is possible.
Maybe an in game music player?
Some game modes probrably.
There's I guy I know who had a good idea for a zombie survival game mode, so if he figures out how to make that into a thing I am totally using it.
I like to stay closest to vanilla as I can. Unless I am doing a complete overhaul temporarily (like a game mode).

 

Hmm, that zombie survival mode sounds like it could be fun. Depends on how well it's done though...

Ok, this looks pretty in-depth. Definitely something that I'll have to check out at some point if it becomes a thing!

 

My search for meat planet began with a half-finished minecraft texture pack and will hopefully end with terraria.
Who am I kidding it will never end.

 

Taste vanilla before adding sprinkles.

 

Depending on how hard it is I'm going to be making my own decorative blocks mods.

Doubt I will use mods. Almost sure I won't.
