Well I should say my wife, Abigail. However, I'm a lover of fantasy and such. Chiefly, magic users. So, M. Rasmodius would be my favorite character. EDIT: Figured my picture would have given this away.
It's a very tough choice, given so many fun characters to talk to and visit, but I would have to say Leah, because she and I share a common love of nature hikes, wild grown foods, and the forest. Linus is a close second, for being a deceptively canny back-to-nature sort with many hidden facets.
See I'd have to agree here. Linus is a real cool guy. Albeit, sometimes seems like he thinks no one likes him. And if those people truly treat him that way, shame on them. He's always so happy when I bring him a coconut or cactus fruit. Very appreciative fellow.
In general, Linus, because of his lifestyle and closeness with nature. He doesn't care about society's expectations of him, he simply wants to live his life his own way in harmony with the land, no matter how difficult it might be at times. He's a little bit gruff at first but if you show him you mean him no harm he'll eventually start to see you as a friend, and he readily shares his wisdom with you. I can also respect Leah as a fellow artist and nature lover. She's probably the character I most resemble due to those traits. Romantically, Sebastian, because he's the most relatable. I'm an introvert too and I can completely understand why he's so withdrawn. He's really quite sweet though once he trusts you. I've married him twice so far and I'm getting ready to go for him again on my new save.
Either Emily or Leah. The first, because she's extremely intuitive and has such a spontaneous, unalloyed joy at the universe. The second, because she takes such enjoyment out of nature.
I really love, well... basically the whole Science House family. Maru, Sebastian, and Robin. They're all intelligent, know what they're doing, they're interesting and fun to talk to... Even though they're all very different to each other, they have similar core traits that make them all very endearing. Robin is my favourite of the three of them, she's very mature and good natured. It's a shame I don't like Demetrius because of his relationships with them... I feel awkward loving his whole family so much and then not liking him at all. Also super fond of Jas. I want to adopt her and cuddle her. I'm glad that I can get Shane to be more active in her life, at least. She reminds me a lot of myself as a kid, so I guess I feel protective of her as a result.
Mine are Evelyn, Abby, Linus and Emily Why: (Btw im really bad at understanding my feelings and using words so um yeah dont espect much) As a kid I never have the chance to see my grand mother so Evelyn make me feel like home, plus she remind me of those old peeps in ghibli movies though it make me rlly sad if i got her cookies from trash cans. I really like mysterious stuff and adventuring and Abby just seem like those kind of people so yeah. Emily heart events and personality is so wonderful shes just really nice and all, plus i LOVE all colors dressing up so i really really like her heart events plus point for birb too birbs are nicey And Linus I really like him cause he remind me of my grand father? A wise person that wont judge anyone hes just a lovely person.
George and Evelyn were my first people to max hearts and I still really like them. I guess I have a soft spot for old folks. They remind me of my mom's parents if their personalities were swapped. <-- And Shane, who I love enough to have spent ~10 hours drawing and colouring. He's the character I relate to the most and the whole chicken thing just seals it. (He also reminds me of my guy IRL, minus the drinking.) I gravitate toward grumps in video games because so often they're hiding something soft and squishy underneath or have a tragic backstory. I think it's true of both George and Shane, even if we're missing a lot of details. I also respect Linus and Leah because they broke away from social expectations (in different ways) and learned how to start over on their own in order to live according to their hearts. It's such a difficult thing to do.
I love Linus. He's seriously cool. I like Elliott and Abigail. I used to like Leah, but I went off her a bit after I found out that she doesn't like icecream. The Wizard is cool too.
Sebastian, because I relate to him a lot with some of his problems and being introverted, I do enjoy the fact as get to know him better, he warms up to you, there is character development, as he becomes interested in you, he thinks of stop smoking, if you marry him, he does stop smoking. (I didn't minded much of him smoking as long the smoke is not into my face and not indoors, of course I prefer he doesn't smoke) with some honorable mentions being the wizard Rasmodius, Linus and Robin.
