I can finally comment in this thread as my farmer just married Sam. First day he already watered my crops and filled the dog's water bowl, second day he made pancakes for breakfast, so can't complain. Funny thing is how the other singles reacted the next day, like Elliott, "It's always a pleasure to meet you." and Leah, "Driftwood. But only if it's from you." and "I always wanted to live on a farm." She just got married! Sheesh!
The polls are as I figured it would be. Seb and Abby. And yes, I married Seb on my first save. And while I wouldn't marry Hailey, it impressed me that she was the only person in the whole town that didn't like the prismatic shard and preferred cake.
I just tried to marry Seb and I couldn't do it. I just can't get emotionally invested in a guy who is so glum about EVERYTHING. I'm sorry that Demetrius gets on his case and his mom does nothing about it while doting on Maru. And I'm sorry that he probably has anxiety issues. But Alex had to deal with his fathers emotional abused, his inevitable abandonment, and even his mothers death and he still refuses to let that bring him down. Alex could have easily turned into a rude apathetic delinquent but he chose to be stronger then that. It really puts things in perspective you know.
I married Abigail, but really, it may have been a mistake. I mean she thinks she can eat rocks and gems.... and tell me to bring something tasty home from the mines. not to mention she gives me bombs as gifts.... I'm pretty sure she wants to kill me. If i ever start a new game i think I'll go with Maru. She seems cool. Maybe Haley, she also seems alright once she gets over herself and stops telling me i smell and that my shoes look like they're made of plastic
Just a heads up, Maru gives you bombs too xD Maru and Abby actually give you pretty similar gifts. Although Maru doesn't cook the food she give you, she find it in her scrap pile. She's trying to bomb you and give you food poisoning
Oh damn.... And she looks so innocent, her and her giant telescope (But I'm sure in Maru's case her overly protective dad put her up to it). I guess I may have to give Haley a shot then.
I married Abby. I thought her character was the most interesting, I mean the girl is always hungry, loves chocolate cake and eats crystals, what more could you love and there was a part of me that wanted to save her from having to live with a work-obsessed dad and a self-hating hypocrite of a mom. At first I thought about Penny bc she's so sweet and she also doesn't have the best living situation in the world, but her personality wasn't as much of a fit for my character. I just married Abby two days ago and she's already given me mine-boosting foods & helped out around the farm I'm like here's all the amethyst you could want, eat up baby
In my first file I married Alex....I don't know why since I don't like jocks. But I just love him. He becomes less of a jerk when you get to know him and his 10 heart scene made my heart melt....he's just so cute omg
I took home the jock power bottom first time (Alex), second time was Sebby, then Sam, then I Harv, and finally Elliot... then I worked my way through the ladies too just for fun. I realize now that I play this game a lot... though! not as much as some people... one guy who does youtube videos is in year 54 or something like that I just keep making new farms... I would also point out that in all subsequent games after marring them all; I choose Alex. I would like to say it is because his story is the saddest and most heart breaking and I just wanna take him home with me and keep him safe.... but I think it is more along the lines that I hare Haley and don't want her to be happy so I steal her man
Hrrm... I first married Penny, and on my third save I am contemplating Leah, Haley or Maru... and I was in this heart event where Leah literally did a One Punch Man on her ex... I uhh... now im afraid of NOT choosing her
I'm still very undecided and haven't invested enough time in wooing any of the guys yet. I could easily bypass the whole scene and just go for playing the field as a singleton instead
Thats exactly what I ve been trying to do but also investing some time on the bachelorettes... then THAT happened, lol.
I might marry Haley this time. I know she is a mean superficial... girl, but my previous character managed to get her over herself before he went of and married Abby (which he regretted solely on the fact that she turned out to be a rock eater). So yeah, I might give Haley a go this time round, see how sweet she can really turn out when all is said and done.
So in Winter I started visiting Calico desert... mostly because I was looking for lots of Omni geodes to speed up the museum collection... I normally avoided Sandy because 1- I didnt like her name 2... I dont really remember why. One day she was being nice as usual and gave me a cold glass... needless to say I started to like her after that! And NOW SHE IS RUBBING IT IN MY FACE! what a tease! (mind you, im still terrified of Leah) "eh-H-hi Leah! here have this driftwo- err I mean ... salad!" (yeah, so you cant hit me with that!)
Why would you be afraid of her so much!?! She is really nice to me... Obviously I fall hard into her love.
I like Sandy, I wish she was allowed to attend more events in the village and quite honestly, I'd have picked her as the next bachelorette over Emily. It's the pink hair. lol
Hrrm... maybe... Lol Ikr, she has the best hair in the entire valley! and Emily has that permanent doll-ish smile and eye expression... ugh! well, I hope Sandy will have a bit more content in the future... or at least use her actual name >w<
