TB and Jesse did a great job with Terraria, and Sip and Sjin have a great sense of humor (most of the time) .

 

Hey, what about Yuri, guys? Maybe he doesn't really do LPs or reviews, he focuses more on "how-tos" and "look how well I play". Haha.

I'm thinking Zisteau will receive an advanced copy, he has been hinting towards a game like Starbound in his future, and his Terraria playthrough was outstanding (IMO).

Yeah, and still it doesn´t stop news webside to call SB a crowdfunded game and to damage the reputation of really crowdfunded games out there. It doesn´t change a thing when they exploit it. For profit.

 

As long as PewDiePie (PleaseDiePie) doesn't get it, I'm happy.

I can't stand him. He's OBNOXIOUS. He'd be more likely to turn away customers than bring them in.

Are people STILL complaining about youtubers getting that TOTALLY NOT A BETA copy? We had a whole thread about this that was not only pointless and dumb but also apparently gone now!

 

That's what makes him funny. Honestly though, it seems like guys are just all jumping on the hate bandwagon toward him.. Anyway he just recently got 10 million subscribers, so even if just a measly 1% of his fanbase bought the game, that's 1500000 dollars in the developers pockets.

 

I think that people are worried about the people it will attract. Many people believe that PDP's fanbase isn't a very good one.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if PDP got Starbound.

I actually agree with the whole fanbase thing, but I wouldn't want the game to lose profit just to keep something as inevitable like annoying kids from ruining the forums. (Which will happen either way at release..)

In all honesty, I don't think most of the drama will be created by the annoying users joining (in fact, I don't even think the forums will be nearly as bad as everyone says it will be at release), but rather, from all the old users overreacting.

Basically, the scenario in 4 words: "GET OFF MY LAWN"

 

They can make their own goal, I guess. like , a self imposed challange. I loved MC hardcore ,but I hated terraria hardcore. you know why?
