Which Youtubers Do You Think Will Get Copies?

Which Youtubers do you think will get copies of Starbound to do reviews?

Totalbiscuit, Jesse cox and the Yogscast.
It's possible other people of TGS will get copies.

 

I actually never watched Totalbiscuit's videos. I should give it a try I guess. Honestly, the only YouTuber I watched (and liked) is PewDiePie.

The good new is that if there is talk about previews, then the Beta shouldn't be too far away. All in all development seems to be proceeding quite smoothly.

Darth and Class are right, TB, Jesse, and the Yogscast will be getting a press release version of the game.

 

You've got to watch TB's videos. They're amazing. You get first impressions of new games and the latest gaming news. Seriously, you should watch some episodes; you won't regret it.

Yeah, TB and Jessie Cox are going to get early copies, and the Yogscast are playing it at the Insomnia Convention (or whatever its called). I don't know if any other youtubers are getting it earlier, I think it might be just them.

 

The only "YouTuber" I've ever watched was PewdiePie for like a day and a half, and it was really just his Amnesia playthroughs ("MR. CHAIR! Runrunrunrunrunrunrunrun!"). I don't know that I'll ever watch anything these people post. I didn't even know who they were until that other thread about YouTubers.

 

Totalbiscuit: High-quality informational content. Gives first impressions of indies, and frequent news roundups in gaming. You'll sometimes get a funny moment here and there.
Nationaliy: British
Jesse Cox: Plays games, often solo, but also often hilarious. Known for his bad one-liners and much more.
Nationaliy: Very American
Yogscast: Consists of several members. They just play video games. Some are hilarious, some, not so much. Only Kim really does informational videos.

Congratulations! The only way for you to go in terms of YouTuber taste is upwards!

 

Anyone who's willing to purchase and record it.
TB can't do a pre-beta first impressions else he wants to go full hypocrite (he hates preorders and would be supporting the SB preorders if he did this).

Also, this thread... we know how its going to end up at the end of the day.

 

I really dislike TB and Jesse Cox. They're not enjoyable to watch at all. Mostly Jesse cause he's so annoying. The only youtubers I could stand watching is Simon and Lewis, but even they kinda suck now. I liked them before they started scripting almost everything.

I do hope they get a copy though. That way I don't have to listen to Jesse Cox.

 

You make a really good point, I wonder how he'll evade that little conundrum after his speech about how terrible preorders are.

 

Don't worry, they're playing it at a convention.

 

Ya I know. I just hope I can tune out Jesse and TB so I can enjoy the game we've all been waiting to play for what seems like the duration of our lives.

 

I'm kind of hoping that GamerDissent gets a copy; he's pretty chill and shows some good gamepla and i think his fans are also pretty chill(my opinion at least)

Oh well, I'll watch Totalbiscuit, in order to understand why he is so loved (aside from him being English: a british accent seems to be enough to make everyone melt).

People like TB because he's exactly as verbose as he needs to be. He cuts through the bullshit and does terrific analyses of games and gamer culture.

 

Considering the Starbound preorders are unlike regular preorders...
They're kind of like a kickstarter, almost.
Well, I dunno. We'll have to see.
