Which Month would you think Beta is going to start? (Poll)

I was kidding. I was not at all serious.

 

I voted June. Look at "May 21st progress" and see how much they did in one day. I don't see the BETA being released in anything longer than July, honestly. So sorry everyone, you're not getting a beta for your birthday.

 

Nooo, one month from now, the BETA will be popular. *hint*THINK POSITIVELY*hint*

 

Considering the rate of progress they have been making recently and how much is already done... it all comes down to how much they are comfortable leaving out in early versions of beta. I would guess sometime in June but who knows? I'd also guess no later than July though.

A sidenote: My guess for full release is late fall to early winter... depending on how many bugs there are.

 

I voted July since I feel like they haven't got too much left to put in (and nothing major) but still need time to do a bunch of finishing touches to get the Beta ready, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it took until August or maybe September. I don't really know anything about game development though, so that's just a guess!

I just need to keep telling myself that the later it comes out, the better it will be! Maybe that will assauge my painful urges... maybe...

 

to some degree, i cant figure if people voting june-july are either overly optimistic or just too much into wishfull thinking.
i know daily updates make it feel like things are going really fast but i feel like those dates are too soon.

and seeing the amount of people who vote for those, im starting to worry people might fall in a self-induced belief that the beta is actually gonna release in that timeframe...

 

June, because it seems like a good time to release it.

 

Or maybe because June/July are the most realistic times for Beta Testing. Beta doesn't only go on for one month, it can go up to about 6 months of testing, and since Tiy even said that they're going to release the game/beta in 2013, I don't think its ever going to go over July.

 

I'm also guessing that the Beta will consist of new features being added during the time period for testing, so that will be exciting.

 

I would say June considering how close they are to finishing, but just to let that timeframe slide a bit I'm guessing July.

 

Now that you said that I'm going to totally agree. I can wait for July, but if it comes out when I'm on vacation, I'm not going to be happy.
(I'm going to Las Vegas on the 25th of July, and I can't bring my PC)

 

It looks like we could be looking at late June-early July, but I'll be happy as long as it starts before I have to start classes again. I want a chance to really sink my teeth into this game before I have to go do other things six days a week.

If the beta is sometime within the next three months, I hope it's a rather extensive one. I don't mind waiting on quality.

I wasn't aware the devs were under any obligation to "impress" you. Stop being an entitled baby.

I've dealt with this idiot child before. He thinks he's entitled.

June 1st seems to be a popular release date, however I think that bit too soon.
Judge by known progression I guess June 7th or June 16th.
