The last item i needed was the dam fiddle fern. I sold the first few i found not even thinking about them. Had to wait for year 2 of summer. I love the community bundle completion scene.. made them settle it the old fassioned way lol
I think the fish tank (because I'm not that into fishing in SDV) and the Bulletin Board ones were the ones I took the most time to do.
I'm on the first week of Winter of First Year (I had another save that I stopped playing on at Fall of first year), and all I have left are the Animal Bundle, Chef's Bundle, and Dye Bundle. Chef's Bundle will probably take a little while because pigs, and unless I luck out with red cabbage from the traveling merchant, the Dye Bundle will take a while.
I am pretty much 2 days left of winter, and the only thing I have finished so far it the first room; which was near the beginning of winter that I did. I think fishing will end up being the last one I complete, unless that traveling merchant shows up with all that I need for that one. I don't fish much, as it is not my interest. The other ones I most likely will be getting more into completing on year 2 or even further along; depending on how things go. plan to have at least a couple critters and an orchard. Anyway, I am still working on the CC.
I'm on my summer year 2 and this fish bundle is driving me nuts! I never seem to get the fish I am looking for and I'm kind of bad at fishing.
I am missing: River: Catfish and Shad Speciality Fish: Ghost fish (I had two and sold them before thinking) Lake fish: Sturgeon Night fish: Eal (I had one but sold it), Walleye I just hope to be done by year 3!
I got hung up on the "Wizard" Bundle until Fall of Year 3, because in year 2 I didn't bother with rabbits and I forgot to buy & plant a Pomegranate tree. And of course, because I had neither a rabbit nor a tree, the game's RNG decided that it was never going to help me out by spawning a Pomegranate in my bat cave, or have a Skull Cavern monster drop a Rabbit's Foot until after I had completed the bundle the hard way. Le sigh.
The board was the last one I finished, but the pantry took me a while too thanks to the quality bundle. The quality bundle is much easier in year 2 thanks to quality fertilizer, incidentally. If I keep going with the bundle route on my next file I probably won't even bother with it until I can make/buy that and just worry more about building up money.
I found that the quality bundle was pretty easy to do year one with just a large amount of crops on regular fertilizer. Sure you have to plant quite a lot, but it's definitely doable without too much trouble.
Mid-way through winter of year two, and all I have left is the truffle for the Bulletin Board. It's a race to see whether if I will finish upgrading my barn and buy a pig or if the travelling merchant will sell it first. Any bets?
Yeah, I don't doubt it, but personally, I was in no rush for the greenhouse anyways and it would have taken me into fall y2 regardless thanks to the board, so I was fine with waiting to do it with more resources and better tools. If you're focusing mostly on crops from the start though I can def see that being a good way to go about it.
When I was trying to finish the specialty fish bundle the last one I needed was the desert one, and the day I was going to pay off the bundle for the bus the merchant stocked the fish. So what I'm saying is both.
If RNGesus treats you like he does me, you'll have a pig that won't sniff up a truffle until after being let out for 10 straight days, and then the day after you turn in your bundle the merchant will offer you a truffle.
