wheres the plutonium?

    i apparently need 10 of it for a ship upgrade, but apparently its the rarest ore in the game, because i only found 5 peices of it on a fiery moon. there has to be a way to get it easier.

    ... theres a thread just like this on the front page allredy.

    Anyway, its found on moons and yes its rare (its only "needed" for the last ship upgrade after all). The only advice i can give is "the deeper the better". I found plenty close to the core on a moon (fiery star).

    ...or just deep in radioactive planets where it's not so rare

    EDIT: nvm I'm dumb, I keep thinkin plutonium is uranium for some reason

    There's another topic on this already but what you're looking for is deeper on moons. The larger clusters are usually found encased in obsidian so your Matter Manipulator needs to be pretty strong. Or you need a strong Drill/pick.
