Where is apex scientist/moon base?

I've been looking for a while, and couldn't find an apex scientist or a base on the moon.


Some help?

 

eh..? what do you mean?

moon planets are mainly only for fuel, and don't usually have dungeons far as I know. Well not yet anyway... Assuming they will add later maybe.

If you are referring to the mining mission that is in S.A.I.L. in the mission tab. A bit confused here at what you are getting at... hmm..

 

I'm talking about the mission with the new boss.

 

There's a gate in every system, you go there and it teleports you to the moon base.

 

The gate? it only teles me to the outpost.

 

ok well if you have the mining mission there, then go to your ship and talk to SAIL. There's a missions tab, hit deploy.

 

oh... then was what I was referring to. You will have to go to the outpost and do a bunch of quests to unlock the mission.

The quest to unlock the mission will have you need to have steel armor. You will have to do many quests before that one pops up at the outpost.

then it will show in sail once complete.

Then mission tab and go.

I had trouble finding it too. You have to start the mission by going into sail, clicking on missions, and then when you click on it you have the option of teleporting to the planet.

It isn't a physical planet you can explore at will, but more like an exclusive area. Some words of advice:

The monsters are really tough, but it's a breeze if you bring a shield. Shield mechanics have changed somewhat
If no shield, make sure and bring a gun

Not going to spoil it too much for you, but remember this also: If you can't dodge the lasers go under the middle platform
