Where do I find new tech?

Been finding lots of empty tech boards but no new tech, any advice on what/where exactly I should be searching?

 

Talk to S.A.I.L, and on the left press 'Show me my tech.' You can use empty tech boards to buy tech. As far as I can tell, each ship tier unlocks a new tech to unlock in each category.

 

Ok then, how do I unlock ship tiers?

 

Travel to the outpost, do quests, talk to creepy guy in Penguin bay, far right of outpost once you do all quests. He'll sell you a ship upgrade license for diamonds. Go back and talk to S.A.I.L., Upgrade ship, Repeat.

 

You have to go to the outposts and fill out all the quests, then go to the far right and talk to the Penguin Bay dude when he has a quest. It should be called "Pssst..." and you can give him diamonds for an upgrade thingy which you left click with inside you ship.
When you do, a message shows up and you dismiss it, your ship is upgraded. there are 8 levels.[DOUBLEPOST=1422791351][/DOUBLEPOST]Or you can /admin and then do /spawnitem shipT1 or T2 or T3, etc.

I only have one quest left, and I can't complete it because I can't find any eggs.

 

You can buy eggs in outpost, there is a shop in the middle of it that sells food products
